I’ve been a lurker here for a long time, with a few smart a$$ comments on other people’s posts. Here is my first attempt at a post that has nothing to do with fishing… Don’t ya hate it when the FD eats the FW’s cat’s crap & has the real bad breath? How do you get rid of it?

I’m gonna let someone else translate this one. Any thoughts Brian?

That’s what I thought. I wanted a second unbiased opinion before I suggest this again. I knew I could count on this site.

I would force feed the cat some really hot peppers, one of three outcomes here.
    1. The cat dies
    2. The cat doesn’t want to poop
    3. The dog doesn’t want to eat hot cat poop

After your wife makes you spend a couple nights on the couch for suggesting the demise of fluffy, they do make a breath freshening foam that seems to work fairly well. My wife has two cats that I would love to send somewhere else, but the dogs can’t get access to the sand covered treats. They still both get god awful breath from eating things like deer crap, raccoon crap, rabbit crap, and pretty much any other critter crap they can find. The foam seems to work pretty well. Neither dog likes it, but contrary to what they seem to like to think, I’m the alpha and they get to eat the foam whether they like it or not.

Funny dog story of the day. My two year old managed to shake a fresh one down his pant leg and onto the carpet in the hallway. The three year old alerted me to the issue. While I had gathered the young fellow up and escorted him to the tub, the dog took it upon himself to clean the carpet. I can’t say why a middle aged Weimaraner finds a fresh toddler turd to so appetizing, but the carpet was clean as the day it was installed.

I gave him a corner of my steak as a tip and a milk bone for a breath mint. Love that dog.

Let FD lick FW’s face and then tell her afterwards.

I honestly dont know why anyone lets there dog lick there face, hands, lips…. anything! I certainly want to kiss my wife if she was eating turds! My dogs learned as puppys to never lick anyone.

Really? Pugs are notorious for licking. Mine likes to try and be sneaky about it. Not funny at all!

My dog eats others outside dog poop frozen and then comes in the house and later on decides she doesn’t like it and throws it up all over the bed/floor/wall.

I have never cleaned up a more nasty god awful dry heaving mess in my life.
By the way where did I put the shotgun?
Just kidding love my dog but not her breath.

now if I am too lazy to pick up poop as they go, why would I suddenly have the ambition to go sprinkle their poop with anything?

Like I said, it’s all relative. Thanks for making me feel better.

Well the MSG doesn’t always work but it might deter the dog from continuing the behavior. But you’re correct there is no cure for laziness.

    And it is chronic!

I’d like to think it is the snow and darkness that holds me back, but I know better. I have gotten out there at times, but not nearly enough.

This reminds me of a story when my buddy, Scott was on a father/son grouse hunting trip with a group. So, Scott and his son Max are out in the woods on their own hunting when Scott has that morning urge and has to take care of business immediately. After Scott completes his business and is ready to move on, he notices another member of the party off in the distance who has a GSP that is closing in on him quickly. The GSP passes him and goes directly to the spot where Scott took care of his business and precedes to snarf it down so fast that Scott could not do anything about it. Then the GSP decides to greet Scott by jumping up on him, breathing hard and licking his face.
