    Yep, code inspector for a suburb, thank God, no point of sale here. Did plumbing, heating & gas for about 20 years before this….much easier on the old body

    Yep. If something fails the inspector says “I dont write the codes” and the manufacturer says “Not covered. You didnt follow proper installation”. Its a great place to be. Cant use my professional judgement to make a decision that in the end I am fully responsible for. Need to rely on someone else for that decision that in the end my company is responsible for.

    No pats on the back from this contractor.
