My dogs can fit under the deck of the lawnmower, so yeah, they stay in.

No the dog wasn’t attached. When I so much as touch (not start, touch) anything with a motor – from an electric broom to a snowblower she goes into hiding. DT….That happened to a friend a couple years ago. He was blowing his drive out and this kid was messing with the dog….tossing snowballs. The dog got carried away playing with the snow plume and before the blower could get disengaged the dog ran into it. Wasn’t good and the dog did not make it.
Had a friend lose a dog to a combine corn head once. Not good.
