    anyone fish this lake for walleyes in june? is it any good? thanks for any responses.

    My experience in all Ely area lakes is that June is the best time to be there

    I paddled across it I think theres trout in there also.

    I recommend trying little long at night. Trolling the shorelines always produces, a lot of nice fish in little long. Burnside can be good on the shallow rock reefs mid day with a high sun even, cast some cranks over top and should catch them, along with some bonus smallies to boot.

    Yea you can get walleyes in burntside but need to know the lake and patterns.
