I had some guys off craigslist move me. Blaine to Elk River. Paid $250 and I didn’t lift a finger. This was just me and my wife though. I bet they could move you for under $400 including truck and all. If you want their number PM me.

Capras rents a Uhaul from the Blaine store to bring down it’s display and merchandise for the Minneapolis Sportshow. It costs about $90 total for a day rental including the mileage- usually 50 miles. I pick it up and drop it off, so I know what the paperwork is.

Maybe it is cheaper on Sundays, just make sure they don’t hit you with all the extras. Blaine to Andover shouldn’t cost you too much!

When we moved a few years ago, we used 3 guys and a truck only for the heavy furniture, beds, dressers and such with a specific amount of time set before they started.

Everything else was packed into a standard or close to computer box with the philosophy that it was easier to move more lighter boxes.

It worked out pretty well for us, but I did end up moving alot of boxes….. Good luck

In my experience the smaller mom/pop rental companies offer cheaper options when moving shorter distances. When moving longer I would go with uhaul or similar for the convenience.

I have no personal experience with this company but I saw there commercial on TV and thought it might be a good option for you, I have no idea if this is cheaper than renting a truck but it cannot hurt to check.
