Oh yeah, used to do quite a lot, but now the tide is turning and the lawmakers are trying to run Dog Hunters out of business. It is becoming cost prohibitive. Lot’s of fun though, if you have a good group. Am I the only Redneck here???

We got guys from Maryland, North Carolina, Texas, etc. all scattered in and around all us “yanks.” Just one big happy family for the most part.

    Welcome Railroad..

Nice to see others on board from different parts of the country!

I am a Minnesotan, I did some time in Memphis but escaped to tell about it!

You betcha we are mostly yanks up here but most of us are pretty good guys.

I will now attempt to southernize (from what I remember from mempha) that last sentance.

Well hell sugar da aint nuttin but a bunch of damn yanks, I use-ta-could not like dem so much, but by dog you gunna fine dem to be some good-ol-boys.

There are days I do miss the speak.

    Again Welcome!

    Hi RR,

NC redneck here…. do what I did last year …. visit the midwest and meet some of the fine folks on the site …. I found the people at everts to be very pleasant … a refreshing respite from the world.

Welcome Railroader. Come on up sometime during the winter and we will arrange an ice fishing trip. I may even explain the love of lutefisk if the rest of this board will allow me to.

    Welcome to the site Railroader.
My dad is a redneck from southern Ill. He tells me stories about gigging frogs and running trotlines and all the other good stuff you can do in the South. We live in MN now but at least we get a dove season this fall for the first time.
