    Call it: Cabin Fever

Maybe someone can write some kind of software that can recognize complaining and bickering and move the thread to this forum for entertainment purposes.

This is this forum, did you mean that forum, because there is no that forum, only this forum. I’m not complaining, but if I were, which forum would I be in, this forum or that forum? Have I made myself perfectly clear, if not, what didn’t you understand? because if I misunderstood you. please help me understand. but I don’t know where to be understood, it’s either in this forum or that forum. whew.

Seems to happen every year around this same time.

The forecast for the foreseeable future is “cloudy, cold with periods of intense whining.” It lasts until the first couple warm days convince everyone to come back in off the ledge or until the admins get sick of reading it and start “thinning the negative herd” a bit. Both seem to resolve things nicely.

I don’t think you get it What’s wrong with you I don’t gt it I think the weather is effecting my punctuation

Anyway, I really appreciate the guys that can brush it all off and take the season in stride. It doesn’t mean that there isn’t any worthwhile fishing out there. I’m sure James will show us on Sunday some great fishing somewhere.

Still, can’t wait until BK is only posting at 5 am because he’s been out all night.

This last week was one of the toughest week’s on the ice this winter. We scraped together a show in some tough conditions up to Ely, MN and had fun doing it. But I’ll be the first to admit I’m ready for some warm temps and, dare I dream, the chance to get the Skeeter out on the water.

More negativity, what are the odds of a good rainy river run?

    My opinion?

Long way to go. The sun has more to do with ice melt than temp. But, based on my 6 years of experience, I see a short 1 week season at best.

    Looking forward still.

    I disagree.

The above comment was not directed at BigGill or any other poster. It was my attempt at humor on another sub-zero night. My appologies.

Based on current conditions, I think you’re right on. Of course a lot can change between now and ice out. We made the call to skip the walleye run up there last year since we filmed it in 2012 but we do plan to give it a go this spring if conditions and schedules allow.

It would be if I was missing out on a hot bite while in the woods.

Oh I am going to agree 100%. I wake every morning wishing one day I will be able to look at the thermometer and it will be above zero! This has been a really long, cold winter! I want to bring the Skeeter home but I have a feeling it might be a couple months before that happens!
