I heard my boat cry this morning!

Took the dog out in minus 11 degrees and walked past the Tuffy who is in the back garage wedged in there with all the other junk I collect. The fish finders are out, and the batteries are on marine chargers. I have a Merc Verado with Smart craft for propulsion. I can hear an occasional 3 loud beeps. I have no clue as to what it could be, and its too cold to investigate. Maybe she is just crying because of this weather…I know I am.

Well it’s not because it’s over heating.

EEK, don’t say that! Besides I stuffed every opening with course steel wool.

At the old house I tried it and they thanked me for the bedding.

Just kidding, although they still made a hole between that and the stucco. Not trying to be mean, just giving you air warning.

I put out glue pads last night since my wife saw a mouse on our stove. All the pads had mice except one. That one was missing and was under a chair 10 feet away. Time to get some more glue pads!

Pug I hate stucco in MN! SO many issues.

First thing I would try is to unplug chargers and see if that stops the beep

Do U have a master switch for the rest? If so that would B my next step

both of these are easy to try even when cold while walking the dog

way better answers then so far —

I did unplug the chargers, but since I was in my bikini I got just a bit chilled. I will go back out later in more appropriate attire an check.

The used the hole where the gas line came out to the AC as access until I got some of that foam.

If those are deer mice, expect all the pads to have occupants until the night none of them have any. My experience with them and spring traps is I would go 2 for 2 or 3 for 3 until the last of the “colony” members perished. I don’t know if they live in groups or just routinely follow each others scent trails to the same places.

Mine would do that if i left the key in the ignition in the “on” position.

Deer mice ate through radiator openings between apartments back when I had one, stuffed it with expanding foam, then pushed in steel wool. Came back home next day from work with yellow foam and wool all over my carpet. Think they laughed at my attempt.

I used the foam that is “supposed” to taste icky to rodents…although I am beginning to believe nothing is really icky to a rodent, just a challenge.
