I’m looking for someone that can make a 30″ pole out of aluminum.

If you know anyone shoot them my way please.

what diameter? What for? I work with some of the best fabricators you could imagine. If you can dream it, they can make it.

Fabricating things from metal, plastic, wood and who’s knows what else is pretty much what I do.

But before I agree to do anything, how about a few more details.

We know you want a 30″ long aluminum pole but of what diameter?

For that matter, do you want it to be round?

    Tapered?

    Hollow? Solid?

What alloy? (High strength aluminum alloys such as 2024 & 7075 cost more. 6061 is more common and pretty darn strong as well)

What is the function and purpose?

Is it something you need temporally. I a have tent center pole you could use for a while. It is 3″ schedule 40 aluminum pipe.

Festivus Poles need to be longer than 30 inches.

My eyes were still blurry when I read it, thought it said 30 feet! Thought he had some plan concocted to keep other boats at bay…

Your best (cheapest) shot might be to find a guy who does flag poles. He may have a old damaged pole laying around that he might be able to cut 30″ out of. Keep in mind it might have a slight taper if that matters.

I think we have some chucks laying around in the building you can have for free. Let me know and I will look on Monday if you still are in need of your midget stripper pole.
