    Can a parked car get hit hard enough that the air bags goes off? Nobody is sitting in the car and the car is not running. Thank’s ahead of time.

    YES ! depending on the car, some airbag systems are live and some are NOT. Can not tell you which are which tho..

    I would think should still be damage tho if it was hit while parked.

    I just made a call and found out ever since late 1999 all manufacturers have designed airbag systems to work only with key on or vehicle running and many factors have to come in to play before they will go off.

    most likely no, due to multiple sensors, including. accelerometers.
