Back a few years ago when IDO Member Elliot Ashwell started the Rack Shack in Burnsville, I had it marked on my “to-eat” list. Well, I just don’t spend much time down there, and ran across a restaurant of the same name in West St. Paul yesterday. Thinking it must be one in the same, I stopped in and ordered the Brisket Sandwich. No sooner did I sit down to start eating than I had the owner Elliot himself say hello. After going through about every sauce they had (I liked the Kansas City with St. Paulie being a close second) we chatted fishing for awhile. Fun to see a fellow IDO’er doing so well.
Elliot it’s obvious you have a passion for BBQ and fishing, and that’s one heckuva combination! Food was great, will be back soon with the family next time. Thanks again!
