Just had to have service work on my furnace. It’s 23 yrs. old and an 80% AFUE. Thinking about going to a 96% AFUE Rheem. Any pros or cons? Right now my utility company is offering a $2000.00 rebate on high energy efficient units.

Speaking of this. Sorry to High jack but Who do you use for heating and such in Eau Claire IceNutz? HAven’t had to do it yet since we got our house but would like to know a good one before I do.

I have used Kelly Heating and Electric at work and they have done great work.

I have also used Erv Smith for my home. I thought they over charged me but did good work.

Thanks, Kelley did our fuse to breaker change over so I was thinking them but thought I’d check. Our furnace is on the old side so I looked up the Rheem’s now too. Thanks again all

You will be amazed by how much a new furnace will save, take advantage of the rebates before they are no longer.

The best thing I did was have my walls filled with spray foam insulation. Wow what a difference, I also had the joist pockets foamed.
