Shockingly I voted cold as worse and I never would have before. But with the extremes shown on the poll I don’t like either one as they both trap me in my vehicle or home so they are very similar.

Hotter it gets you just need to move the lawn chair a little farther in the water. Love those days. The gals tend to wear less on those days to than at 20 below.

I voted cold. Biggest reason is can’t get the dog outside very long. When it 100+ I can still take the dog for a swim.

I assume your talking mid day, at least in the summer you can get out at night and enjoy the outdoors in somewhat comfortable temps. -20 during the day means -30 at night. No winning in that weather. Give me the heat.

The one thing about cold, it sucks the life out of everything. The heat stinks, but I don’t ever recall my truck not starting because it was too hot. I’ll still take the cold. Fat kids don’t like the heat.

I always say, you can put more clothes on and turn up the heat, but you can only take so many clothes off before being arrested

You can always add more layers to stay warm.

    Agree with the flatheads.

Couple summers ago when it was dog gone hot out, we where fishing at 2 in the morning for channel cats. Just netting the fish was a struggle.

When we went in we were all soaked by perspiration. I motored 2 miles at 18 mph and we were still soaked when we arrived at the dock.

    I loved it!!

I boated from stillwater to hastings and back just to stay cool one day this summer/fall. Caught a flathead that night

If it’s much past 90-95 I do everything I can to not go outside unless ladies in bikinis are involved. I will fish in almost any weather but I’d rather be able to put clothes on.

Beer, bikinis, and fish. Don’t care the temp as long as those criteria are met either in combination or separate. And before you poo poo the cold, look up bikini ice fishing team.

I used to be on the bikini ice team, but I froze off my utility nipple…

    Sorry it’s the heat…

Bikini ice fishing team could cut their own spearing holes today, take off the top and belly flop right across the ice.

X2. I’m not a huge fan of 90+ degrees, humid with mosquitos, cicada bugs buzzing, the sweltering sun and the risk of sunburns… I’ll take the extreme cold over the extreme heat, but I’d prefer 60-65 degrees. Great hoodie and campfire weather.

Ouch I don’t see the bikini ice fishing team taking more off in -20 but +100 who would blame them for having anything fall off.

For me the cold is worse. I can’t launch my boat on 18″ of ice! Give. Me 100 degrees all day everyday. (Or at least above 0)

X2 I hate winter and being cold, I would rather sweat then freeze.

You could have said 110 degrees and humid over 0 degrees and I still would have said the cold is worse.

You forgot to add a 10-20 mph wind.

You people go walk outside for 4 hours with no birds singing, trees dead, snow on the ground, traffic 10Xs louder than normal, skin chapping…I’ll take that heat and humidity you hate so much.

Maybe it is just the people I am with but I rarely hear them say in the summer, “Man, I need to move to Canada. I can’t take this heat”.

I wonder how people would feel if they had to choose between the 2 for eternity?

    I’ll take the cold
It’s less likely to see BK trying out his bikinis
