what does the pool numbers mean?

    I am in the Prescott area and want to fish for bass and would like to figure out what pool we ar in or whatever those pool numbers are. any help would be great. thank you

    I think this is an easy one. The lock and dams are numbered, Like 1 through 26. The water held back by dam # 4 is pool #4.

    BTW prescott is pool #3
