Used some this year. It looks great. But recommended to clear coat it to seal it in.

Best quality powder paints, including glow, I have been getting through All powder Paints. Great company to work with.
They have glow in clear/white, green, violet, blues, dark and light.

Wow, that lure – making site is a little pricy at almost 50/#. I only pay about $15 to $30 / pound pending color or metallic mix

I have some Pro-Tec powder paint that works well. Not sure where I got it but a quick web search will bring up suppliers. The key I learned is to use multiple coats. At first I heated the jigs, dipped them, heated them again just enough to make sure all the paint was liquefied, then dried and used them. They didn’t glow very well at all. The next time I repeated the above steps 3 or 4 times and they’re just as good as factory glow jigs now. I like to hang them to dry by threading through the eye onto a thin nail, stiff wire or whatever works to save cleaning the eyes out later.

Do I have to heat the lures before I spray them with the powder paint or can I turn it into more of a liquid type spray

Not a liquid form. The material (jig/blade/lure) needs to heated first. I sent you a pm already, but for others – I use a heat gun that stands on end. With it running, I have my blade or jig in a hemostat and heat it over the gun. Then I spray with a Badger abrasive air brush at about 10# in front of a medium sized box lined with 1ml painters plastic. The plastic/box will catch the over spray and allow you to recover/re-use the over sprayed powder. Completion is having in a oven and baking for the required temp/time per the powder manufacture’s instructions 400(ish) for 10 to 20 minutes is common. I picked up a Foreman convection toaster oven at a garage salwe for $10.00 which works perfect for my applications
