I was given an old Clearwater Pro Z flasher by a friend and have been looking for an ice transducer everywhere. Anyone have an idea where I can get one? It came with an open water ducer that was attached to a trolling motor but I don’t know how well it will work for ice fishing. It says Zercom Marine in the center of the dial and Clearwater Pro Z on the right hand side.

I have a similar zercom. I had the ice ducer for it and it was terrible, couldn’t mark any jigs smaller than a #6. I gave the ducer away to someone on IS and bought the trolling motor ducer. I epoxied a wooden dowel to the center of the ducer and put some pipe insulation on the top of the dowel so it will float. Works much better, it will now mark a #12 jig without having the sensitivity all the way up.

I bought a marcum 4 years ago and haven’t used the zercom since, a buddy of mine uses it when he goes with. Still marks fish and his jig just fine.

Thx for the info K22. I have some ideas I want to try and since it was free I won’t be out much if I screw up.
