Hey guys, some friends and myself have been checking on the dnr website for some nearby walleye lakes and seems like the Blue Earth and Faribault counties have some decent numbers and also decent size. Some of the lakes seem to be very shallow though and we were just wondering if any of you guys have experience fishing over that way and if they are even good ice fishing lakes. Thanks!

    Welcome Jordan.

For Blue Earth County check the “Bobber Shop” in Mankato.

Are you looking at Faribault County Lakes or lakes near Faribault?

There is a relatively small lake in Faribault county that had some pretty good walleye numbers that I was looking at.

YOUR KIDDING> Bobber shop has a website now? Nice.

I always made a good effort to buy my higher end stuff at the bobber shop. GOod folks, especially when you start to become a repeat customer.
