Ouch!!!! Hope it all works out for you. I have some really screwed up vertebrae in my neck, got hit over the head with a telephone pole when I was 18 on a job.

Long story don’t ask, I was told years ago to stop playing baseball, 20 years later I’m still playing but I’m afraid of what they will tell me the next time they xray it!!

Hope you have a fast and full recovery.

Doc told me that same thing 15 years ago….funny thing is I married a chiropractor and never had the “required” surgery. Last PT test I had I scored a 97% so she must be doing something right.

I am 61 now,had 5 back operations and one neck operation. If I had not had this I would be in a wheel chair. I use a walker right now,
I was hit buy a milk truck 55 years ago and it did me no good,my parents didn’t even take me to the doctor.
I can ice fish if someone takes me,been on disability SS for 13 years, braces on both legs. I could go on and on but wouldn’t do me much good.
My father was tough as hell when he was 61 and I am not good for much. That is the reason I am on this sight, love to fish.

Ain’t it great, surgery that is. I just received some great news this summer. I was in an accident and t-boned a few years back. I was in Fort Worth for work doing an install and was on my way to the shop when it happened. I ended up in the hospital with a couple broken ribs , punctured lung, and a broken leg.

I healed up and everything was ok until last spring. I started to have some pain in my left hip and it got worse as summer arrived. I went in for a battery of tests and after seeing a couple different specialist they found some scar tissue on my hip from the accident. This ended up degenerating my hip joint (arthritis). I’ve had a few cortisone shots in the last three months and it helped but it will have to be replaced in the near future. They want me to wait as long as possible as I just turned 45 and they wear out so it will have to be replaced again down the road.

So this winter will be interesting…. I’ve been a 3-4 night ice fisherman since I was in my teens. If I couldn’t find anyone to go I would just head out by myself. I’m not to sure I trust myself on some of the long walks I used to do. Not to mention no hockey this winter or golf next summer.
