When we announced the hats for sale prior last week we didn’t have much to offer with regards to photos of the hat itself. Outside of one fairly crummy cell phone shot the best we had to offer is what people put up in the forums after receiving their hat!

While that got us by for a week and we appreciate everyone’s trust that the hat would be worthy of the buzz that followed the release we thought it best to actually give people a proper look.

So, here it is, left, right and back. We think its pretty darn cool and based on the response over the last week I think we’ll be seeing a lot of these out on the ice this winter.

Are you going to have a booth at the show next weekend or do they need to be ordered here?

We’ll have hats and hoodies at the Tuned Up Custom Rods booth. Quantities will be limited so I won’t make any guarantees on availability. But they will be there at the start of the show.

None of the IDO hats have a plastic strap. I’m not sure what you mean by “fitted.” Please explain.

I’m sure he means the ones where the back is closed. The one that you have to know your head size.

He means a fitted cap with no adjustable strap in the back. I get his point , I am not an adjustable hat fan either , but its not feasible to do fitted caps in a scenario like this. However, there is what is called a flex fit cap that is closed in the back and adjusts to any size head with a sewn in rubber type of band. I will say though this is a mighty sharp looking lid !

Ah, gotcha’. No, there’s no plans to do a fitted cap. Sorry.

Great hat, my shades clear the brim even with quite a bit of cup. My new favorite.

Very impressed with the embroidery work! I’ve had a lot of tourny shirts, guide wear, and hats done over the years. Very well done! Wonder how long it will take until I need to order the replacement? Thanks James, very nice product!

Thanks guys. Seems that quite a few people have been impressed with the quality. Enough so that we’re temporarily SOLD OUT on the hats.

I’m working with the supplier to get more back in stock ASAP. I never in my wildest dreams thought we would ever, could ever, sell through so quickly. My thanks to all that made that happen!
