Help! Here is the deal. On one of my favorite lakes, you can usually catch you limit of sunnies, or crappies everytime out. This year however, I couldn’t catch a cold. Usually these fish are really shallow, and will bite on an empty hook. It doesn’t matter what the weather is like. Even the bass this year are tough to find/catch. However if you move to deeper water, 15-30 feet, there are tons of fish. They won’t bite, but you can see them on the fish TV? Any ideas as to what might be going on?

I found something like this over the weekend in the Milli Lacs area. Nothing happening on the shore lines. We did find some fish out on one of the weed flats that was starting to pop up. I had noticed a small clump of weed hitting the surface in what is usualy a large weed flat this time of year. Lots of pan fish and bass in this area.
It has been awhile since I have looked for pan fish this time of year. Maybe looking out away from the shore lines might help you out.
