Steger – Camuks– other warm boots?

Imlooking for new boots for deer hunting NE MN and Ice fishing.
Does anyone have a pair? I walk 30 minutes into and out of my deerstand on average and then tend to sit for very long hours.
I need a boot that is comfortable to walk in and also warm on stand. How about any other Steger Mukluks?
I have tried some Cabela’s Preditor Extreme Pack boots and while warm they are bulky to walk in. I have also had some 2400 gram insulated rubber boots- They were alright to walk in but later in the mornings my feet got very cold in them.
Im looking for the best mix of warmth and walkability.

I visit that store every year. My impression is they would work well as long as it was very cold and there wasn’t any wet snow or melt. Looks like they would soak up water pretty fast otherwise. That is the reason I have never bought a pair. That and they are only fashionable in Ely and Canada.

I would get a decent pair of 1000 to 2000 gram boots and a pair of boot covers to wear once you get to your stand. Makes walking more comfortable and less sweating.

Make sure the boots are not tight with thick socks. I wear a thin liner sock and then a thick merino wool sock over the liner sock.

Not sure about the others but I have the Arctic Shield brand, they are thin, fold up flat and keep my feet warm.

Sorgy, get the Stegers. You will not regret it. Treat with h2o repellant of your choice and good to go. Light weight, but very comfy.
