When to colect golden rod?

    Is it to early to collect them now? When or do you collect them?

    Always collected them while hunting in the fall.Kept them in a paper sack in the garage or freezer.Cut some open the night before as cold hands and sharp knives don’t mix well.(from experience)

    If you know were there is a patch of them I think I would be get them soon. I once ask the same question to an old guy, and he said right before the finchs get them. That made think!!!LOL

    I did it once for a lark but the payoff is too small for me. I would rather buy waxies.
