I’m staying in Eau Claire for the next couple of days. Any info on where to fish from shore would be a big help. Thanks mower

Altoona dam on the Altoona side small suckers for walleye stay close to the dam face with your casts or lake Eau Claire dam in Augusta take 12 out of ec to Augusta head north on 27 after you cross the river hand a right on the first dirt road (immediately after bridge) fish off the sandstone by the dam fatheads n split shot rig or 1/16 oz jig n fathead, tons of eyes there

Another good option would be bellow Silver Mine ski jump hill. Park at the public hunting lot at the very end of the road. There is a nice rapids there but it takes a .3 mile walk to get in. I have been meaning to fish it all fall but I have been to darn busy. With the recent rains a little flow can really stack fish in there…

Thanks guys. Tried all three spots and did fair at all. Even ended up with a HUGE carp. No picks though sorry. Made for a great trip, but could have do without the cold temps. There was some skim ice on ponds and the mud holes were hard enough to drive over without breaking.
