My daughter recorded the 3 or 4 mile ride through a channel that I love to cruise through to get on one of my favorite post spawn walleye bites. The scenery of the ride never gets old to me……though, the beaver’s feed piles and new dens create a bit of a hazzard Average depth in here is about 2′ off plane.

You’ll be watching that over and over this winter.

I get nervous flying down narrow areas like that. I know you know the area, but I’d be concerned a log might be floating around.

I know I wouldn’t be comfortable running that water – don’t trust my river knowledge near enough. Looks like a dream area to spend a nice casual day on for sure. Love to kayak something like that – sure beats the busy lakes I am familiar with. Don’t know I’ve seen scenery like that before.

    awesome,
reminds me of the spring run we make each year,
    only narrower.

Would love to see all the work your doing with the wheel.
    Like NASCAR in car cam.
not sure if you could do that
    without your GPS location showing

I record different stretches of river all the time. It does and doesn’t help sitting in the ice house wanting it to be summer. I might have 20-30 of them on YouTube from around Mn.

Looks like fun, but oh boy was that fast! I for sure wouldn’t do that without an extra prop along. The scenery is great though, and the fishing’s probably just as good!

I’ve run this stretch for about 25 years or more. I know a few guys that go back there regularly and tell me where the beavers feed piles are. I caught a t-shirt of all things on my prop one year during low water. Couldn’t get on plane and had to idle the hour plus back. Hit a beaver at about mid 50’s and was surprised no damage to the prop. The beaver….he didn’t make it after the grinder

Rich it reminds you of the back channel except for the thump and the swearing part.
