I hate to say it but the owners and management isn’t that smart. They could have the first pick and they would somehow screw that up.

They would have RG3 if they hadn’t throttled the Redskins on the last game of the season two years ago. I think he’d look pretty good in purple.

I believe the Redskins traded picks to move up, so unless something really strange would have happened they couldn’t have gotten him anyway.

Our win put us at the 3rd pick. We had the “tiebreaker” for #2 had we not won that last game. If I recall correctly.

The Redskins almost killed the guy last year.

Yeah, they traded with the Rams to move to #2 and we were #3 but had we lost that game we would have had the second pick and Rams the third. Last game of the year sitting on two wins and they couldn’t tank one! I’m sure it’s easier said than done and the guys have pride and all that cliche crap but c’mon!

Here they are, trying to get a good pick this year and all anyone can do is beoch about it… and at the same time beoching about not throwing games years past… Literally, figuratively and in all practicality, they “can’t win” with some of you

Why not just lay low and watch everyone fight over Johnny Football and Teddy? We can get Marcus Mariota who has even better numbers, later in the draft. Also, Aaron Murray is going to drop a longggg ways.

With this said, a lot of the best NFL quarterbacks came from non-big time schools. The San Jose State QB has slipped past everyone over the years and could be quality talent.

With this all said I still feel the best fit for the Vikings is Murray because of the system he comes from. He knows what it’s like to play for a run first team that has a great defense. Although our defense has been lacking lately, I don’t see it being an issue next year. I strongly feel like Murray is our answer.

Prediction. If they draft a QB it doesn’t matter who it is , they will stink. Its the curse of Fran Tarkington.

Watch out on the Aaron Murray bandwagon, dare I say it but he looks a lot like a guy by the name of Ponder at times in his college days… he doesn’t seem to have the “it” factor much like Ponder in his day, he will probably be better than Ponder in the NFL which really isn’t saying too much but I wouldn’t stake much on him (Murray). Just my two cents.

Murray is playing with his whole WR core injured right now. I’m not sure if you watched him last year but he was a stud. Absolutely incredible. He also holds the SEC record for most total yards.

I want a reverse Herschel Walker trade with AP. Get something good for him while he’s got some time left. Stock pile draft picks.

Are you kidding me? They could have all the first round pics and they would still screw things up!

Trading AP is definitely not the answer. We have LOADS of talent right now, just no coaches to utilize it. It’s pretty easy to change that.

I think they teach this in General Manager school of what not to do that applies to GM school for basketball and baseball too. It was that bad for the vikes and that good for the nameless team in Texas that I can’t stand.

Don’t think we’ll see another trade like this in our days. Especially now that it’s a salary cap league. Draft picks are just too valuable for GMs to give up a ton.

In four years as a starter Murray has a 6-12 record against top 25 teams. And only 1 of those 6 wins came away from home. Ponder was 5-8 against top 25 teams in his career.
