Well I finally decided to come into the 21st Century and got myself a smart phone ( Iphone 5 ). What are some must have Apps that I need/want. I know I can/need to use this thing for more than phone calls and as a flashlight Please let me know what apps you all use the most. Thanks.

Bass fishermen don’t troll. Trolling is for those who don’t know how to cast

Is the Navionics app for the whole united states or do you need to load different Apps for each region?

I have an iPhone App called Luna Solaria. It has basic info: Sunrise/Sunset, Civil twilight, Moonrise/Moonset, phase of Moon, next new/full Moon.

Weather Channel has a decent free weather app. I like it cuz you can have several locations monitored. MyRadar is another good weather app. And I’ve made IDO an “app” in the sense of you can save the home page onto your screen. If you haven’t done that yet, good to do. I prefer the Google Maps app and the Google Earth app – good for checking out the lay of the land as it were for fishing etc.

    Scout Look app >
hunting, fishing, or other sites can be perminantly marked and saved. Has lunar tables, weather. Has an option called ‘scentcones’ for game hunting(deer)and ‘setcones’ for like putting out decoy spread for ducks n goose hunting. It’s a great app. I have it on my iphone and on all 3 of my computers….you can even advance the times and dates to see the wind changes….
    just get it

Weatherbug is great for weather and live radar. New one I just found is Family Handyman DIY Tip Genius.

CBS Sports is my favorite for sports scores and updates.

LOL… I have a buddy that every time it gets slow in the boat, he goes to the “Chive”. Lets me do the “figuring” out how to catch something while he pretends he is 25 again.

I just downloaded Deer Scouter…. will pull up Google Earth location of your phone and you can mark trails, deer beds etc etc…. it also shows current wind direction and speed for the exact location. It cost $2.99 but I think it will be worth it !!!
