    I’m surprised you did not hear Holy @#$# in the background! That is way too close for comfort. I would be shaking like a leaf after that.

    After seeing 2 different people killed by lightning personally ( one on a softball field while I was watching the game. The other one was someone in a tent at a small campground I was camping at ) I have a great respect for the power of it. My wife thinks it funny how nervous I get anytime lightning gets close to where I am. She can laugh all she wants – I am going to do what I need to to stay alive JACK !!!! In this case I would have beached that boat so far up the nearest bank that it would take a barge pusher to pull that boat back into the water

    They showed that on the news this morning. Interesting fact….more people are killed on the water from lightning then on ground.
