The family is headed to Phoenix next June. This will be our first trip flying. I am looking for suggestions on looking for cheap flights and things to consider when flying with a 3 year old, 5 year old, and 7 year old.

Thanks for any and all suggestions!

Orbits, Kyack, Price Line ect (excuse the spelling). Then look at the actual airlines. Usually 30 to 60 days before you fly you should be safe in a reasonable dollar amount. Flying out on a Tuesday through Thursday and returning on the weekend does us well on the dollar amount on airline flights.

Bing is the easiest and cleanest site to search for flights. I travel a lot for work and am always looking at flights, Bing is the way to go.

That being said, they do not have prices for Allegiant, Virgin, or Southwest. Nobody has the fares for those three except their own sites.

I am betting you will find your cheapest flight on Allegiant but do realize you can’t choose your seat unless you pay, pay for carry-on, no free water or soda, rarely are they on time. I find it is much smarter to pay the extra money up front.

I use Allegiant when I go to AZ all the time. Never had a problem with it not being on time. Last year, they ran a special on Cyber Monday where flights were $68 each way. It only lasted 1 day!!!!! Checked bags can not weight over 40 lbs…….not 50 lbs. like the others. Any bag that goes in the over head also has a charge. Back packs under a seat is free. Anything you get of the food cart has a charge.
