Is it navigable now with the lower water level?

On Wednesday I went through 2nd cut all the way up to the dam. This was my first time through so I went slow the whole way. I don’t recall seeing many places with depths less than about 3′ except by the main channel. Saw a guy in a flat bottom tiller fly down through.

I do not know the back channel very well yet. With the current water levels it would not take much to find a place to get hung up if your not familiar with the area.

As Dale said with the levels as they are…travel the back channel at your own risk.

I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone that has to ask.

    (that’s not a slam)

No…not all the way through. The highline area is the problem area. Lower end from 5th cut is fine…..but use caution as always!

Thanks, I was hoping all the high water earlier this year might have washed out a channel, but it looks like not so.

Be careful on the old 2nd cut route as well- I completely plowed a stump a month ago that I had never encountered before.
