MVIF- Annual Fish Fry 10/17

Hi Everyone,

On Thursday 10/17/2013 is my fishing Club’s Annual Fish Fry dinner. We are the Minnesota Valley In-Fisherman Club in Apple Valley, MN.
This is our only fund raiser of the year, and it is how we fund the Kids and Youth fishing programs that we sponsor during the year.

The fish fry is at the American Legion in Apple Valley, MN,
14521 Granada Dr
Apple Valley, MN

The American Legion is a couple of blocks north of Cedar Ave and Co Rd RD 42. It is 2 to 3 blocks west of Cedar between 145th and 147th Ave’s on Granada Ave. Just look for the BIG American Flag.

We will start serving dinner at 5pm thru 8pm, and it is all you can eat. It is a beer batter deep fried fish, or seasoned oven baked filets (either one or both), includes baked potato, salad, bread roll, desert, and coffee all FOR ONLY $10.00- Children 12 and under is $6.00 (We did have to increase the walkin ticket sales to $12 to cover the increased fish filet costs, but the predinner tickets are still $10). There is also a pay as you go full bar for cocktails. This is a very popular event every year. Hope to see you there.

Jack, I have to double check the calender, but I think that’s the Thursday before the Bluffs 25th anniversary on Friday and the Saugerama that Saturday.

I believe I can make it, if you’ll save a place for Kirt next to me. I want to talk to him about this swim bait…

I’ll be there early Jack…even if that bassole Moreye’s doesn’t show.

I was planning on pre-fishing that day but BK said there is no need to so I may show up.

What time you going Rich. Sounds like Moreyes is on a diet and can’t make it.

Not exactly due North Brian, but I’ll be there between 4 and 5. I’m leaving directly from work.

you get there that early, we’ll put you to work.
5pm is 5pm, possibly 4:50p if the cookers get over
anxious, but that rarely happens.

My wife and grandkids are going to try to make it. Is there any food besides fish. The 6 year old doesn’t eat fish.

The only item for a full dinner is the Fish Fry dinner.
If the young man does not eat fish, he can have baked potatoes, salads and deserts.
If you are able to go, try and get him to eat a nice crispy deep fried piece of filet.
He could change his mind.
