Melted my shorty leadcore rods!

    So, be careful with rod rack location in garage ceiling. Somehow my 5′ leadcore shorties got to close to the 300 watt bulb. Melted the eyes off and did god knows what to the integrity of the blank. In the trash they go and two more are on order. Bummer.

    300 watt. You Trying to light up the sun. They do get hot good rule of thumb would be 12″ away
