    I just wanted to ask for everyone’s prayers for his family. Dennis was a fishing guide at Gunflint Lodge. My wife and I had the pleasure of joining him for a great day of fishing 5 years ago on our honeymoon. He loved to fish and was even more excited then we were at times. This weekend he was tossed from his boat and never resurfaced. Please hold his family and the staff of the Gunflint Lodge in your prayers.

    Agreed…very sad. On the other hand as a person who made a living on the water the question remains why he was not wearing a PFD. I apologize in advance for the reality check.

    Great guy! Went out doing what he loved. Worked with him as a guide at Gunflint. One of a kind-he will be missed.
