Or do it the organic and safe way and release a couple of snakes that can smell them out and get into the places cats and traps can’t.

I use the bicket trap with great success in the garage and shed. (Use anti freeze all winter.) The cats take care of any stray mice that get into the house.

Totally true. Mainly, I think just the scent of the cat drives mice away.

Not necessarily. We had 3 cats.

You obviously need a different breed of cat.

MC drowns Chuck Norris in a pool of his own tears.

Either you’ve toilet trained your mice or you poop in the corner.

    I hope it’s the former.

Yep – cat scent will help keep mice away. Had one show up about two months ago in the basement when the wife left the door between the house and garage open. Cat played with it for about 15 minutes. Mouse vanished – has not be back since.

I don’t know why you guys are trying to kill these mice when you can make them work for you. If I’ve learned anything from having a kid, it’s that If you give a mouse a cookie, eventually he’ll clean your whole damn house just so he can get another cookie.

I have a mouse problem every fall. Eventually get rid of them. This year I’m going all around the outside of my house with black pepper and sprinkle the ground with it. Suppose to be an all natural ridance of mice. Worth a shot as far as I’m concerned. Suppose to work for other unwanted animals also.

Black, cayenne, cinnamon…most spices are claimed to detour mices. I believe that’s how the fabric softener sheets work as well.

I believe all of these help, but still are not the sure fire silver bullet.

Werd. I think my brother used the sheets in his boat. I can’t remember if they worked.

I went OLD SCHOOL and nailed what appears to be the momma! However,, The wife is working out downstairs ,,sees the same one she saw the other day go up to the trap, lick the Peanut Butter and sneak away. Looks like im gonna need to pick up some sticky traps too!

The “better mouse traps” will handle this situation. You put the peanut butter on the roof of the trap so they have to stand and move around on the trigger. I have yet to be robbed by small ones though I did catch a small one once then the big ones ate the parts of it hanging out of the trap. Cannibals!!!
