I haven’t had any issues with 22L in the past 3-4 months of any place I have looked for it here in MN? Check some online sites. I even bought a brick at 5 cents a round from the worst ammo order on earth (Gander Mountain) keep looking.

I’ve seen in here and there locally, but not reliably. And I haven’t seen the 500+ round boxes that I normally buy.

It has been tough… Hoarders and scalpers buy up everything. Then reselling it…

I have been using Natchez Shooters Supply, Midway and Sportsman’s Guide with success. All are online.

You cant find .22lr anywhere around the clinton, fulton, QC area. You MIGHT be able to get lucky and pick up a brick or two online for a halfway decent price. Or maybe one of the sponsors here will ship you a brick at a good price. Most retail are limiting .22lr to four 50 round boxes per person though, which is about 20 minutes of fun with a golden boy.

Just was at Gander. They are fully stocked on everything BUT .22 long rife. They have 9mm, 40, .223. Full shelves once again. Many different choices. Just no .22 LR except CCI subsonic. Quite a bit of that actually.

Not to be negative, but .22 LR is currently THE toughest thing to find by far. Even 9 MM and .223 seems to be easier than .22 LR.

I saw D!ck’s Sporting Goods had it in their ad this week, so that would be worth a try.

Otherwise just get in the truck and start hitting every possible place. Luck is a factor.

Honestly, if I had any extra I’d sell you some. I haven’t seen so much as a single pack even for sale for 9 months now.

BTW, the urban legend of the government / homeland security / the FBI / the millitary buying up all the ammo and therefore causing the shortage has been thoroughly debunked. The Federal government’s overall contracts for ammo, for both millitary and law enforcement uses, have been declining since the peak of the war in Iraq. They are currently at an 8 year low. If there wasn’t a shortage then, why would there be one now? The problem is prepper-wannabes, hoarders, and scalper resellers.

Don’t forget to add in the thousands of new firearm owners that dove into the shooting sports over the last few years. When Frankenstein ( fienstien) reintroduced the gun ban bill, thousands of non fire arm owners bought thier first rifle. Common was a .22lr for plinking

Should try sw shooters supplies and prospecting. Out of Cordova Illinois. I just got 2 bricks for 22.50 apiece. Kenny or chuck will be glad to help you out. Or carbon cliff bait and tackle had some few weeks ago. Good luck
