I would say it is a decent deal. my pov would be to stick with a lg, pana or Samsung brand. vizio is a decent brand but I trust and see the difference with these other brands. looking at a big electronic store, there are this same deal and other one for the same price and less with the lg and pana brand.
are you looking at the 4k sony tv… 15,000 for this tv
I have several Vizio’s and have had no problems. I may not have the top end TV, but I have no complaints.
Bought my Vizio a few years ago from Sam’s club and I love it, great TV for the money
With a screen that big, I would stick with a 240hz refresh rate….especially if you like watching sports.

depends, what are the pixels, refresh rate, and type of tv
x2 Visio is a decent brand, if you are watching a 60″ you need a big room, it should be 120hz or higher, is it LED or LCD, is it 1080P?
If I’m looking for a new TV and it’s an LCD or LED it would have the following specs
1080P
120hz or higher
2 hdmi inputs minimum
If it a plasma 600 hz is standard, 1080p
Also check into the extended warranty, they are general fairly reasonable
They have this one online for $728, meets all the good specs!!!! It’s a refub, but I know several people that have bought Visio refurbs and all have been perfect.
That’s about $100 off of the regular Walmart price. I bought the exact same TV from Walmart last year on Black Friday for $698 and it has been a great TV for us.
I am considering a 42″ Vizio for our bedroom and will most likely wait to see if there is a Black Friday deal this year as well.
I researched the TV before I bought last year and the only complaint I’ve heard regarding Vizios is that they take a few seconds to fire up once you hit the power button. The light comes on immediately, but the picture and sound are delayed. You get used to and it and has never caused us to have second thoughts on buying another.
Black Friday is certainly the best time for a new TV. That’s when we bought ours
I just bought a new TV this last weekend. I did a ton of research. I have no personal experience with Vizio… but I decided against Vizio after reading a lot of reviews regarding problems. I know that there are bad eggs no matter what you buy, but many of the bad reviews included mention that the company is impossible to work with as well. Therefore… I decided against it.
I went with a 7100 series 55″ Samsung LED 3D Smart TV. What is also cool is… I have the Samsung Galaxy S4 smart phone and I can connect the TV to my phone and share pictures, videos (including HD Movies I have on my phone), etc. The other night, I downloaded a 3d movie to my phone and played it on the TV (Iron Man 3). Awesome TV.
I would have no problems buying that TV. It is a LED RAZR SMART TV. I plan on buying it for my newly buiolt house. I bought the same version in 42″ a year and a half ago and it has been great.
Takes about 10 seconds for it to turn on but that is my only complaint.
Are there “better” TV’s out there? Sure. But if you are asking on fishing site then the answer is you will never know the difference.
Hey Dave, if it is a Smart TV can’t you just download it right to your TV without using your phone?

Only if it’s from one of the built-in Apps: Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, Amazon Instant Video, etc.
It is a smart TV, but it does not have a built-in browser… which I guess would be another complaint of mine. If the TV is connected to your home’s wifi, why can’t it have a built in browser?

Correct.. no browser as far as I know. But then again… I don’t care to have a browser on my TV. Thats what I have a laptop for.
I own that TV, been pretty good. Haven’t had it to watch football on yet, I can let you know after a few weeks. We have 3 Vizios and all have been great! I too read the reports and I have never posted a good review of it, other than places like this. Some people may be happy with the product and just keep their mouth shut, the bad eggs, you will always hear about those. If it is in your budget and the next step up is not, go for it! I like the price point and I like the brand, we bought it at about 950 got it at Target with the FW’s Target credit card for an extra 5% off. They might price match if you have one of those too.
