Hit and run

So I guess there is a better quality of fisherman on ML than Wabasha. For the 2nd time in two years someone hit my boat trailer while parked in trailer parking and broke my left boat trailer light, scraped my boat fender and knocked of the wheel bearing cover. This time however no information was left. Older green F250 with a big boat (trailer was big). Last year on the east side of ML same thing happened but the guy left a notice and paid for everything and was very nice and things happen. Not this time however.

So this happened between 1 and 5 on Monday in the main landing in Wabasha. Not that big a deal but just makes me appreciate the guy up in ML who was honest. Too bad more people were not like the first guy !!

Yes, I was parked straight between the lines. Wonder where the best place is to park in those lots ?

Had the same thing happen at Castle Rock about a month ago. Left tire tread marks halfway up my fender (and broke it). Must have whopped it pretty good, fortunately just cosmetic damage, I just replaced the tires and bearing so I’d have been a bit more PO’ed if they had also been damaged.

Some people are just to worried about ‘me’ to give two ****’s about anyone else.

Michelle’s sister hit a trailer parking their trailer a few years ago. They left a note, but never heard back from them. Hopefully they at least appreciated the attempt and figured a tail light wasn’t worth the hassle of a call.

In your case on Mille Lacs, it sure is nice to hear people making an effort and taking responsibility.

Camera on the cell phone works good to take a quick pic of the rigs beside the truck and trailer if are parking between them.

Never thought of that but what a good idea.

I saw a guy smash a trailer in lacrosse during the BFL this year. Most likely a co-angler who was not used to parking a trailer and was in too much of a hurry.

I will say that it is near impossible to pull into some of those spots when there are two vehicles on either side if you have to turn into it. That sucks they didn’t leave a note, people like that are pathetic.

You think the local law enforcement would follow up on that?
