Rod Holder Question

    Hello , I am curious.. Do any rod holders fit in any mounts ? I have a set of holders but its hard to find flus mount bases, was curious if they would fit in different bases

    I can say that Scotty and Ram are NOT compatible. I have both. I think that most are not. Most are same size but different patterns. That would just be bad for business.

    I was told that Scotty makes the Cabelas rod holders if you have either of those. Most others are different.

    What brand are they? If your talking about the ones you mount to the top of the gunnels, generally you can flip the base upside down, you just have to drill a recess hole under the mount for what would normally stick up. I did this with both berkley and scotty mounts!

    You are correct sir. They also make the Gander Guide Series as well.
