OK you experts out there, just how do you rig a jerkworm? I was using the Berkley worm, about 5 inches long. I Texas-rigged it with a 2/0 worm hook and had a small shot up the line a little bit to get it to run deeper. I just love the crazy, eratic action these things have and so do the Bass. I had hit after hit, but I couldn’t stick anything! I was batting about 95% with regular worms but I missed 10 in a row on the Jerkworm. I even watched one fish pick it up. I could see him suck it down and I had darned near did a full back flip setting the hook, and then he spit it right back at me. What gives? I was using a 7 foot medium heavy spinning rod, 12 pound XT, and the hook was a 2/0 Messler. Any suggestions?

    Thanks Rootski

well maybe you arent letting it take it long enough or either that or maybe you should try a little bigger hook. when i throw my 5 in senkos i usually have a 3/0 and sometimes even a 4/0.
