Needless to say, the cost of HeliHunting is significant. Helicopter + fuel + pilot = 3000 – 5000 per hour. Ammo not included.

However, if any of you happen to own a helicopter and a big ranch in Texas, I’d spring for a few hundred rounds of .308…

Really. This is exactly what gives hunting a bad rap.
Very pathetic and there is no sport to that what so ever.

I agree with Mark. That is disgusting and I could not watch it to completion.

I see your point but those feral hogs are a real problem. Everyone acknowledges that so I dont think its that bad. btw I couldnt watch it to the end either but I feel thats because Im older and softer. Same with prairie dogs. At least you can eat these insects.

Really? You think those 4 guys are gonna eat 232 hogs? I don’t think they can or will. Or even give that much meat away! That is not even hunting. And its on the “Sportsman Channel”. Give them guys a bow and sit in a stand or stalk them, then its a “sport”. And they say “we picked up as many as we could”. Id bet my white *ss that they don’t. They gonna take a boat out in the water and pull them out? I don’t think so. No wonder why the government is trying to take our guns away from sh*t shows like this!

I liked some of his songs at one time but watching him and his anti liberal gun control with the nra makes me wonder about the guy

    Toughen up fellas.

Feral hog hunting down south is hardly a sport hunt. They are an invasive specie that the govt wants exterminated. The goal is to KILL as many as possible. It is simply a slaughter – and is not intended to be more than that. Whatever method kills the most is the best……,,

I’m one of those too that finds just shooting stuff to shoot is ridiculous, but, that looks like a blast. Sign me up right now. Technically the pig dies, decomposes in that southern heat within what, a month? Right back to the earth it goes and gives back to all the native plants and animals that it was destroying while alive, sounds like a win win scenario.

X2 what ever creature you think is bad and we need to control it’s population, times that by 100 fold when in comes to hogs to the farmers and ranchers across the south. Just hope that they keep killing enoug so they don’t spread to the north.

I get the ferrel hog problem. In my mind it’s no different than the problem squirrel, raccoon, chipmunk or rabbit in my yard. I’ll shoot them. Not fun and I get no satisfaction in doing it. I goota agree the hootin’ and hollerin’ makes hunters look bad and this is a gift video for the antis to use to support their cause.

However, having shot full auto many times in the past, you just aint normal if that don’t bring a smile to your face!!!

I think it could be fun for a short time, but I think I would get bored in short order. Just not enough of a challenge.

There’s a lot of challenge. The challenge of making enough money to pay for it

You didn’t bring enough guns then.
