Very disappointing on your remodel Scheels. Before I could walk in the front door and get my bait and jigs within 20 paces of the door. Now I have to walk way down to the right center of the store for jigs. Where’s the bait? Well just walk back across the store and way up in the corner you can find bait for your jigs. They dropped the ball on this remodel with no extra space for more fishing equipment but there sure are plenty of clothes on the racks. Sad to say but you lost some of my money

Keep it local and go to Burokers fellas, this big box store dropped the ball on the fisherman

One last thing Scheels. I didn’t have my bait bucket. You charge premium prices for your bait. Buy a few plastic bags so if I am on that end of town and decide I need bait you can provide it for me without me spending more cash on a bucket I don’t need. What happened to your service?

Sounds like they got you to walk all through the store. I’m pretty sure they consider that a win.

I like it the Fishing and Hunting does have more sq footage. Walking is good for me and like what was said earlier that is the way they get impulse buying no different then any other box store.

why do you think grocery stores put the bread and milk opposite each other at to back of stores. those two are most needed items and by placing them that way you are compelled to see and possibly buy items as an impulse even though you thought you were only going to get milk and bread.

Why do you say that hunting and fishing have more area? I was told that both area supervisers campaigned for more space but were vetoed by corporate managment. By the way, if you use the outside entrance you can avoid all the clothes and yuppie stuff at Scheels and all the crap in the mall

Many options for bait and jigs in EC, will not be bothering with Scheels and that gauntlet I have talked to a few members of the fishing department and there is no doubt they got the shaft, now corporate gets the shaft from this former customer Its too bad because they do have good customer service, but that does not trump convenience

No doubt its not a first world problem just a disappointment on something that could of been thought out a little better. Don’t worry I’ll get over it.. Many other places to spend my money
