Don’t have too much to report, But fished Mille lacs last weekend and the fishing was generally slow during the day with the slip bobber fishing picking up in the evening. Fished the south end gravel bars during the day lindy rigging leeches and night crawlers and had similar, bit slow succes on both. Graphed fish periodically so I know they are out there. The water temps were 58 to 60 degrees so the bite should continue to keep picking up. Did see a few large walleyes caught out there. The evening was good as we caught about 10 in a 2 hour period slip bobbering 15 foot rocks on the southeast side. Caught a couple in the slot, but most were either too small or between 22 to 25 inches. Fished rocks that were closest to the deep water. Looking forward to going up there again soon.
