Had to go Clinton, Ia today to take care of some business and the walleyes or catfish most be biting down here. I seen at least one,two or three boats on every wingdam . In that area there is alot wingdams. Came back over a couple hours later to go home and all the boats where still on the wingdams.
There’s no fish in Pool 14. BTW, what’s a wing dam?

It,s gotten to the point where fishing wingdams, in clinton, is take a number and wait. On the weekend you have to leave the river by 10 or 11am because of all the boat traffic. Cabin cruisers will rock you right out of the boat. If you want too find wingdams that don’t get as much pressure you have to go down river or up to Savanna.
