I know, I know, it has been already discussed, but officially Cabela’s is coming to Woodbury. At the 94/ Radio Dr. exit, they posted a sign on a trailer, “Cabela’s Opening 2014”.

Why not get a Sportsmans warehouse back? I’d get excited about them coming back.

….or why not put the Cabelas in the still vacant Sportmans Warehouse building?

To my knowledge Sportsman’s Warehouse went belly up, and as I drive by that building virtually every day, I cannot see Cabelas going there, it would be way too small for them, especially the small parking lot.

I met Jake & his FW through Sportsman’s Warehouse.

He was a fishing machine then and is now a well oiled fishing machine!

Other than theft being a big issue, why is there not any sporting stores in the metropolitan area. I am sick of driving out to Rogers, Blaine, St.Paul, Brooklyn Park to get tackle/bait. Can us city folks get some love here!!!

sportsmans warehouse pulled otta the state due to financial dificulties….Im no expert but knew a few who worked there etc….apparently from what i heard it was a messy break up between him an her and he needed to downsize….also their warehouses where not managed properly..with shipping and receiving ……now granted this is the grapevine

Inventory issues and a huge problem with the banks cancelling lines of credit…then giving them a new loan at only a fraction of what they needed was probably the largest contributing factor. Most people have little knowledge of what it really costs to stock and operate a store like that. When there is no more funds available in the line of credit, much less stock is available to be put on the shelf

Cabela’s 8 miles from home will be great. I miss the Sportsman Warehouse
