Was able to take my wife and mother out on the big pond for a vacation to show my appreciation for them. Stayed at the Village Inn in Manitowoc/Two Rivers WI. The pool bar was much appreciated when our fist day of fishing was canceled due to waves and weather. Booked our first trip with RN Charters out of Two rivers and Rob and Bob were a great fishing team. My mom pulled her first Nice King followed by our two smaller kings. Not bad for a slow bite in 5 foot waves with mandatory three points of contact at all times to keep from falling. Can’t say enough about how nice it was to fish with RN Charters. Really stand up guys. Or next trip was booked with IDO’s Willie Bee Charter. These guys really know how to cover water and Keith and Dalton really know how to fish well together and to get fish to take home even during a tough bite. During a tough bite both charters were the high liners of the day luckily for us. My wife took big fish honors on this trip followed by me and my mom. Pulling spoons 55 feet deep over 60-80 feet caught our fish.

Sounds like you had a good time despite some tough conditions.
Good to see you caught some fish!

It seems things are different this year than last year, but conditions are looking better. Hope the bite turns on for you guys. Only way to catch fish is to fish. Good luck.
