Man, is it black outside. Rain coming in sheets and the wind has ramped up big time. Hopefully we can avoid hail.
I’ve been watching this storm troupe across several counties and when it got just west of Rochester it really grew. I’m guessing in the 10 minutes the rain has come down we’ve seen an inch or better. The water running in the street is running almost into the grass on the curb..

The sky has lightened up and its not dumping near as bad as it was. Right now there isn’t a lick of wind. Weird, weird weather. Still raining though.
We were getting dry here again so this was timely in coming. I guess from Winona south they got pummeled again with hail.

I dumped an even 1 inch of rain from the gauge a minute ago. The Cascade Creek is up a foot from this little shot of rain.
Its getting cleared out in the west and we’ll be seeing sun in a few miutes. I don’t know how your house missed this Jeff, but perhaps you aren’t home right now.
Oh I am home keeping busy and my mind off things

We got missed by everything which bums me out because thunderstorms start getting fewer and further between now and they are usually weaker this time of year.
