Best Crankbait Organizers

What is your favorite crank bait tackle box? I have been searching for awhile to find the perfect crank bait tackle box and I cannot seem to find one that I really like. My cousin has a couple but I cannot seem to find them anywhere. Everyone that I end up buying ends up being the same old tangled up mess or it conceals the crank bait so you cannot see what you are grabbing for until you have it completely pulled out of the box. Hopefully with some input from fellow IDO’ers I will be able to locate the perfect box.

All plano boxes for me. BUT, I use the storage compartments in my boat as my tackle boxes and swap out plano boxes as needed for the bodies of water I’ll be on. Or in the case of traveling light to jump in someone else’s boat, i put the few I need in a carrying bag and on my way

That’s the size of box that I am looking for. I know someone has to make a crank bait box that is the same size as the Plano Boxes that is user friendly. I want to stick to the same size because then it will fit into my storage compartments. If I cannot find anything that I am looking for I will stick to my Plano boxes that I a currently using. I just don’t have enough space to store all these Plano boxes and try to keep all the crank baits organized. Using the Plano boxes you can only stick 3 per compartment without having a huge mess and trying to untangle everyone just so you can put it on the line.

Have a few plano boxes from the fishing box stores and those have lasted. Saw some at Home Depot for way less $ and picked one up to try it and guess out of all my ones I’ve had for years was the first to break its hinges…… Just a FYI

Plano boxes. Wrap a rubber band around the hooks on each crankbait. You can stuff a box to the gills and never deal with tangled hooks.

I am a big fan of the Falcon boxes. They separate your cranks and are very durable.
