Love this response. For me personally, I’d love to believe I’d make the right decision but the reality is money makes people “crazy”. I can see how people justify decisions. Cripes I do it now with ammo purchases, tackle purchases. Of course, I’m not under contract either.

Kooty I am with you man, I always give people the benefit of the doubt as well. Money is the root of most/all evil and that’s why I personally don’t play the lottery, all that would just send me right over the edge. But to have these guys come off as almost victims to their business partners and friend rubs me the wrong way. Money is an influence yes, but life still comes down to a choice and they rarely ever just pop upon someone to make a split second decision. With the roids I am sure all these guys were approached initially, could have said no, then went into some office or clinic (these are professional athletes who make million $s they don’t do this stuff in the back of alleys), could have not gone, and still ask for refills, pop em everyday, so on and so on. There was plenty of opportunity to stop before it even started, and/or not even put yourself in that position in the first place. These guys are all losers who cheated their way to the top very knowingly and willingly the whole time.

When you justify your own purchases for that expensive rod or nice ammo or gun case, etc. that is one thing(and completely justified ). But if you were purchasing high end drugs that were illegal and voided a contract that you signed and you knew it gave you a cheating edge over the rest of your friends/colleagues, I don’t know you Kooty personally, but I would highly hope most all of us on here would not do it.
