Is anybody else having trouble replying or creating a new post on the mississippi river boards? I can reply and post every other place but there, any ideas?

I did some digging around and actually browsed the site under your account and couldn’t reproduce any issues. Can you please shoot me a PM or reply here and tell me more… anything yo ucan think of, that might help me diagnose your troubles?

Anyone else seeing any issues, same or similar? Anything else that I should know about? I’m in a bug fixing mood so let me have it!

Looking good on my end. I checked the forums after this post went up and it worked OK then too…

Maybe a hickup in the lines at that time?

Thanks Jon. Anyone else experiencing difficulties, please let me know ASAP. I want this site functioning flawlessly for all of us. Any time a user takes the time to point out a bug or flaw there’s a really good chance that others were helped as well.

Chris Wallace e-mailed me saying he can’t get on and wants his user name dropped so he can come on again and post. I told him I needed his user name but haven’t heard from him yet. Thanks, Bill

Tried to login from my home last night, selected logon and the message next to the login said I was not logged in, but in the top of the box it said welcome Chico, could get to the varies sites but it would not let me post anything. Could have been a hicup, will try it again later this afternoon.

From time to time, particularly when visiting the site from multiple terminals, your cookie set may become damaged, requiring a user to clear their cookies for the site.

Located at the top of the side bar on the left, in the menu box, is a link labeled “my cookies.” Once you’re logged in, click on that link, “expire” your cookies and log back in. 99.99999999% of ALL troubles of little bugs related to this site will be fixed by going through this little quick fix.

Try it if things are acting a little weird or different and I’m betting things will be back to normal.

Be nice if the right click mouse menu worked. I’ve seen other posts about this and know I can use the control keys for some of this.

    Thanks

Sorry. Right click will remain unavailable here. But you are not limited in any way from using copy and paste functionality here or elsewhere because of this.

Highlight your text (hold down your LEFT mouse button and drag).

    Control + C = Copy
    Control + V = Paste

Trust me, it’s MUCH quicker than using the right click route and once you do it this way you’ll NEVER want to do it the other.

I know I’m 1% of the population (stillakid, may think less ) but copy and past on a MAC works fine. You guys keep talking about a right mouse button…Mac’s only have one. I was confused… because I didn’t know there was a “right” and a “wrong” button.
