Check the size of the bag at Mickey D’s. You are getting hosed. Don’t you have a Kwik Trip close by??

Do you know anyone on the local fire dept? Usually they have ice machines there. I know all the local fire depts around here do. That’s been a key source of ice for a lot of people in our area.

    Wendy’s is $1 for 8 lbs (I think).

In the past I have just wheeled a cooler into McDonalds and asked them to fill it. They have for free.

Do you know anyone who works at a bar or restaurant?

And thank you for being the guy who’s making sure his guests have cold drink

I have a buddy that runs the concession at a local golf course. When we go on a big trip I give him some coolers, and he fills them up in off peak hours. Someone in a bar may do this also.

I like those Kwik Trip 10# bags. 5#s just does not cut it on a hot summer day. Then again if I had a $300 cooler it might.
