Hey guys, my name is Kyle McClelland. I am 16 years old, and live in a small town outside of Traverse City. Fishing the Great Lakes region is my passion, as just about everything I do revolves around it. I’ve been following this website for a while, watching videos, and think they’re awesome! I thought it would be a good idea to join the forum, as I’ve learned a lot from the videos. I fish for Salmon, Steelhead, and Trout on many of the Lake Michigan/Superior Tributaries from August-November. I then move into Steelhead mode, and fish for them until early May. Once the spring run of Steelhead has died down, I will target walleyes/bass for the next couple months. Once the Salmon show up in good numbers on the west side of Lake Michigan, I will then target them. Other species mixed in of coarse, but that is my general pattern!

It’s been a long time since I’ve been over that way. A buddy had lived near Glen Arbor and kept his boat up by Leland, I think about 1/2 hour away. Love the dunes over there – very cool
